The bones are preroasted with onions, garlic cloves and a touch of olive oil before left to simmer for 10 plus hours in a bed of bay leaves and peppercorn. All bones are sourced from Whipporwill Farms in Ridgeland South Carolina where the chickens and pigs are raised on minimal grain and live a long life in order to achieve the most nutrient dense bones, fat, and meat. This results in a vitamin and mineral packed broth since these animals foraged naturally. Bone broth is overwhelmed with micronutrients and phytonutrients to support gut health and overall wellness.
