After being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Ulcerative Colitis in 2015 at the age of 23, Catherine was determined to find herself healthy again. A project engineer in heavy highway construction, she discovered during her research a gap in the market of whole naturally sourced ingredients and food on the go that is available containing those ingredients that is also safe for those with life threatening allergies and gut related issues. The need for food that is fast is ever-growing and at the same rate the quality of those foods are declining. From there she had set out on a mission to give back the power of people's choice to eat foods that their bodies deserve. All of Cappys products are free from the most prominent allergens, including peanuts, soy, milk, dairy, wheat (gluten), fish and crustacean shellfish. The Quickbite was created with flavors inspired by her home state New Jersey, Everything bagel seasoning and Sesame Seeds. They are not offered in many flavors including Lemon Poppy Seed, Cinnamon Raisin, Sunbutter and Jelly, as well as seasonal flavors.
Cappys has partnered with local farms to produce the second line of products, Quickmeals. These are nutrient dense grab and go meals so you no longer have to sacrifice health for time. Some meals are heat and eat while others are ready to eat. The availability of the meals will change with what is growing on the farm so all meals are seasonal. Cappys provides seasonal options so the food stays local and fresh.
Cappys will be shipping in the future to provide people everywhere the opportunity to eat healthy. Cappys will be building Cappys Cafes to provide a dine in farm fresh food experience. Produce will always be sourced locally to the Cafe whenever available.
