Cappys Story

After being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Ulcerative Colitis in 2015 at the age of 23, Catherine was determined to find herself healthy again.  A project engineer in heavy highway construction, she discovered during her research a gap in the market of whole naturally sourced ingredients and food on the go that is available containing those ingredients that is also safe for those with life threatening allergies and gut related issues.  The need for food that is fast is ever-growing and at the same rate the quality of those foods are declining. From there she had set out on a mission to give back the power of people's choice to eat foods that their bodies deserve. All of Cappys products are free from the most prominent allergens, including peanuts, soy, milk, dairy, wheat (gluten), fish and crustacean shellfish.  The Quickbite (mini muffin) was created with flavors inspired by her home state New Jersey.  We work with local bee keepers to provide local honey as the sweetener in all of our muffins.  They are now available in many flavors including traditional ones like Blueberry and Lemon Poppy Seed as well as innovative flavors like Sunbutter and Jelly and Zucchini.

Cappys has partnered with local farms to produce a limited seasonal nutrient dense grab and go meals.  Some products are heat and eat while others are ready to eat.  The availability of the meals will change with what is growing on the farm so all meals are seasonal and made on a pre order basis.  Cappys provides seasonal options so the food stays local and fresh.

Cappys is growing in size and availability.  We have 3 operating members of the team and recieve help from the community when needed.  Cappys is available in local locations in and around South Carolina.  Cappys will be shipping in the future to provide people everywhere the opportunity to eat delicious allergen friendly, responsibly sourced food. The future holds for Cappys a line of Cafes to provide a dine in farm fresh food experience.  Produce will always be sourced locally to the Cafe whenever available.
